Chabarukhi Hoard

The Chabarukhi hoard was found by accident in the Chabarukhi ravine (Dusheti  Municipality), near Phasanauri in 1961.
the Bronze items were wound up with the bronze girdle. The hoard contained: 4 fibulas, bronze daggers, Colchian exes, spearheads, a shield, bracelets, a situla, pipes, basins, figurines (hoarse, ram, deer), jaw fastenings, buckles, chains, belts, hook and eye clasps, rings and beads.
The hoard is dated to 8th -7th centuries.
